- Integration of DC-BASE (testing version!)

• BASE:

• microarry database system implemented as a web application.
• offers LIMS functionalities and a set of data normalization and analysis features that can be extended thanks to a plug-in architecture.

• DC-BASE:

• Database containing manually annotated microarray experiments (thus far only a subset of the data)
• Duccio Cavalieri's group (University of Florence)

Notes:

DC-BASE and the Directory are synchronised on the basis of controlled vocabulary / ontology terms used. DC-BASE is queried automatically whenever the user carries out a search in the data set or bio material categories. However, the login process to the actual data is not yet implemented and will be in one of the next releases.
